Americana/country singer/songwriter Natasha James returned to Prairie Sun's Studio B this fall to record basic tracks for her new full-length record with producer/engineer/drummer Ronnie Rivera and staff engineer Matt Wright. Natasha spent a week here with her regular band laying the foundation for her new record, and she and Ronnie are currently hard at work on the overdubs. They will return to Prairie Sun's Studio A very soon for the final mix.

For all of you that stayed up late (on the east coast, especially you guys in NYC and MIchigan) to hear us live on KSVY 91.3 fm in the Sonoma Valley, and streaming live on the web, thanks so much for your support and your emails! So glad you enjoyed the new music from our upcoming cd, and the interview...we have been invited back to KSVY again in August, and we will play some more new tunes from the upcoming cd, Modern Life, as well as a few trusty avourites. That being said,.... as of next sunday, May 29th, for 8 consecutive weeks, Natasha James will be appearing at the:

Barking Dog Cafe in Sonoma, RIGHT ACROSS from the Sonoma Mission Inn, for a little brunch with backbeat Sunday mornings from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

The first sunday will be kicked off by Natasha James and Herman Eberitzsch, pianist extraordinaire that many of you Sonomans will remember from Sy Klopps, among other line-ups. Herman is another songwriter in his own right so look for a few of his tunes as well.

The second 2 sundays will be the duo of Natasha James and a local favorite, Chris Caselli. Those of you who tuned into the radio show will remember that it was Herman and Chris performing with Natasha James that night.

The following sunday, Natasha James will return with Herman Eberitzsch. You can look forward to a variety in the way your old favorites of ours will be done, as well as the new tunes. We look forward to seeing you there! As always..Stay Restless!
