“On the sophomore album from this remarkably-talented Sonoma County singer-songwriter, James is versatile enough to be comfortable in acoustic Americana styles, minor key blues, story songs, straight-ahead rockers, and, surprisingly enough, even Latin jazz…this is a mature singer-songwriter at the peak of her powers who reminds me of Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi, but has a style all her own.” PAUL LIBERATORE, MARIN INDEPENDENT JOURNAL
(SANTA ROSA, CA) - Multi-talented Americana/Roots singer/songwriter Natasha James continues her remarkable radio success, with her CDs TEQUILA TIME and BAD JUDGEMENTS currently being played on the air in Japan (where she is currently at #1), The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, England, France, Spain, Italy and more. Within two hours of her TEQUILA TIME being uploaded, over 400 radio downloads of her songs had occurred! MUSIC NEWS NASHVILLE called "If You Think This Is Love" a "downright Bonnie Raitt blues-y performance...one of (James') best. The song is "a twangy hip shaker guaranteed to grab you by your feet and throw you in a dancing mood."
Natasha James & band return to perform for the second consecutive year at the Sonoma County Fair, Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, Sunday, August 8. 1:15-4:30 p.m. $9. (13 and over). Info: (707) 545-4200 or log onto www.sonomacountyfair.com.
